Email Services

Email Services collection provides Email Client API for accessing mailboxes, folders, messages and attachments.

In addition to Email Client API, this collection provides Email CRKEYS API to track new emails received in a mailbox. This API can be used to display an envelope icon in the indicator area when a new email is received. KCmailDataRepository (0x20029F4A) is the central repository key for email data and KCmailNewEmailDisplayText (0x000000010) is the key to display text for a new email indicator pop-up.

• Email Client API
  Email Client allows listing and accessing of mailboxes and email messages. Messages can be created, replied, forwarded and searched. It also allows launching of specific mailbox in the email application.
