Select Menu > Applications > Internet radio.
Nokia Internet Radio is a network service. Before you can listen to radio stations on the web, you must have a wireless LAN or packet data access point defined in your device.
Note: Using packet data access points may involve transmission of large amounts of data through your service provider’s network. Contact your service provider for information about data transmission charges.
Select:
Last played station to listen to your last played station.
Favourites to view and listen to your saved stations, and to add stations to your favourites.
Station directory to find radio stations on the web.
Search to search for stations on the web by their name.
Select Options >
• Go to now playing to open the Now playing view
• Add station manually to save a station to your favourites. Enter the web address of the station and a name that you want to appear on the favourites list.
• Add to stations to save the last played station to your favourites
• Update application to update the Internet radio application
• Settings to change the default access point and select connection speeds for the different connection types

To stop playback, press the scroll key. To resume playback, press the scroll key again.
Note: Listen to music at a moderate level. Continuous exposure to high volume may damage your hearing. Do not hold the device near your ear when the loudspeaker is in use, because the volume may be extremely loud.
To adjust the volume, use the volume key.
To view station information, scroll down.
If you are listening to a station saved in your favourites, scroll left or right to listen to the previous or next saved station.
Select Options >
• Station information to view general station information(not available if you have saved the station by manually entering its address). Scroll right to view the station’s recently played tracks. Scroll right again to view additional information, such as the available connection speeds for the station.
• Add to stations to save the currently playing station to your favourites
• Update application to update the Internet radio application
• Settings to change the default access point and select connection speeds for the different connection types

To view and listen to your saved stations, select Menu > Applications > Internet radio >Favourites.
To listen to a station, scroll to it, and press the scroll key.
To add stations to you favourites, select Find more stations....
To delete a station from your favourites, scroll to it, and press C.
Tip: To view only stations beginning with particular letters, start entering the letters, and matching stations are displayed.

• Go to now playing to open the Now playing view
• Station > Details to view station information
• Station > Move to move a station up or down on the list
• Station > Delete to remove a station from your favourites

To find and save a station by entering its web address, select Menu > Applications > Internet radio > Options > Add station manually.
Enter the web address of the station and a name that you want to appear on the favourites list.
To save the station to your favourites, press the scroll key.
To listen to the station, select Options > Listen.

To find radio stations on the web by different criteria, select Menu > Applications > Internet radio > Station directory.
Select how you want the available stations sorted:
• Browse by genre to view the available radio station genres. To view the stations in a genre, select a genre.
• Browse by language to view the languages in which there are stations broadcasting. To view the stations, select a language, and press the scroll key.
• Browse by country to view the countries in which there are stations broadcasting. To view the stations, select a country, and press the scroll key.
• Top stations to view stations sorted by their popularity

To change internet radio connection settings, select Menu > Applications > Internet radio > Settings.
To select the default access point to connect to the network, select Default access point. Select Always ask if you want the device to ask for the access point every time you open the application.
Note: Using packet data access points may involve transmission of large amounts of data through your service provider’s network. Contact your service provider for information about data transmission charges.
To change the connection speeds for different connection types, select from the following:
• GPRS connection bit rate—for GPRS packet data connections
• 3G connection bit rate—for UMTS packet data connections
• Wifi connection bit rate—for wireless LAN connections
The quality of the radio broadcast depends on the selected connection speed. The higher the speed, the better the quality.

You may receive links to internet radio stations in a .pls file from compatible devices or services. To view the links in a .pls file, open the file.
To listen to a station, scroll to the link to it, and press the scroll key.
To save a station to your favourites, scroll to the link to it, and select Options > Save.
