You can search for currently selected components in the Dependency Explorer main view. Note that Find Components can be used only in the component tree.
To find components from component tree, do any of the following:

Right-click a component node and select Find...

Click the Find button on the Dependency Explorer toolbar.

Press CTRL + F.

The Find Component dialog is displayed.
+

In the dialog, enter the search criteria for a component.
+

Search words are case-insensitive.
Example:cone, Cone and CONE all return the same results.

The search will find all components that contain the search criteria.
+
Example:co returns cone.dll, eikcore.dll, eikcoctl.dll and so on.

Wildcard characters (such as the asterisk *) are not needed.

Click Find Next.
The first match that meets the criteria is highlighted on the component hierarchy, and its usage details are displayed on the Imported Functions, Exported Functions and Component Properties tabs.

To continue looking for more components from the lower levels of the hierarchy, click Find Next again. A message is displayed when there are no more results to show.
