    15 <p> This setting can be useful if you port Symbian platform from

    16 a version previous to 9.1. </p>

    17 <p>A number of <xref href="GUID-3DD52BA7-2EB9-52D4-9BF0-A0A4A2B6BD54.dita">global

    18 platform security configuration settings</xref> apply when you build a ROM

    19 image. By default, the settings are ON and no capabilities are specified for

    20 removal. </p>

    21 <p>If you change the settings and specify capabilities for removal, you must

    22 first define the macro <codeph>__PLATSEC_UNLOCKED__</codeph> in the <filepath>variant.mmh</filepath> file

    23 of your target device and rebuild the kernel. In the template port, you can

    24 find this file in <filepath>...\template\template_variant\variant.mmh</filepath>. </p>

    27 <p>If you do not define this macro, changes to the settings when you build
