    13 <p>The Base Starter is started by the File Server, <filepath>EFILE.EXE</filepath>,

    14 near the end of the boot process. </p>

    15 <p> <filepath> EFILE.EXE</filepath> initialises generic file services. <filepath>e32strt.exe</filepath> performs

    16 handset specific initialisation. The Base Starter completes the initialisation

    17 of the file server, and then creates the system starter process. The system

    18 starter process is the next process in the chain of processes responsible

    19 for starting all the major Symbian platform services. The following

    20 diagram shows the relative position of the Base Starter in the start-up sequence. </p>
