Product Description:
====================
Carbide.v is a PC-hosted tool providing front-end for managing S60 terminals
variant settings.  It allows reading, editing and writing all customizations 
and  resources in the form of a CPF file.  Carbide.v is intended  to achieve 
better quality and time-to-market of variant customization by providing rich
UI for customizing settings,  WYSIWYG preview of branded  resources and data
validation.

Other  key  enablers  in  new  configurability approach are Configuration ML 
(ConfML)  and  CPF  format.  ConfML  is  an XML-based language for defining,
describing  and  specifying  software settings of a phone variant. It allows 
exporting  feature  settings,  applying values and validating correctness of 
the configurations.

CPF  is  a  file  format  for storing ConfML data and customizable resources
(media,  files,  etc)  in  a  form  of one file, providing means for logical 
grouping of features and  settings, history and descriptions of the variant.
