11 <p>Use the Carbide IDE’s project manager to update a precompiled header automatically. The IDE creates a precompiled file from a source code file during a compile, update, or make operation if the source code file meets these criteria:</p> |

13 <li>The text file name ends with .pch (for C header files) or .pch++ (for C++ header files)</li> |
|
14 <li> The file is in a project’s build target</li> |
|
15 <li>The file uses the pragma precompile_target pragma</li> |
|
16 <li>The file, or files it depends on, have been modified</li> |
|
