13 <p>An item in the <b>Options</b> menu can be a submenu title, leading to additional |

14 choices that are displayed in another pop-up window (on top of the Options |

15 menu pop-up window) as a submenu.</p> |

20 <p>The submenu is opened by pressing either the left softkey (<b>Select</b>), |
|
21 the Selection key, or the Arrow right key.</p> |

22 <p>The user can close the submenu window by pressing the Arrow left key. The |
|
23 main menu window remains open, with the focus on the submenu title.</p> |

24 <p>When an item in a submenu is selected, both the submenu and main menu windows |
|
25 are closed.</p> |

26 <p>The following rules apply to submenus:</p> |

28 <li><p>The number of items should be low, so that the user does not need to |

29 scroll in order to see all of them. </p></li> |
|
30 <li><p>Functions should not occur sometimes in the main level and at other |
|
31 times in a submenu. Items that are in a submenu should always be found in |
|
32 the same submenu. </p></li> |
|
33 <li><p>Only one submenu level is allowed; that is, a submenu cannot contain |
|
34 another submenu.</p></li> |
