This section lists the concepts and architecture of the SMS Stack.
- SMS Stack Architecture
The SMS Stack is a plug-in to the socket server. This section provides the architectural relationships of the SMS stack.
- SMS Utilities
This section provides a summary of the classes and the functionality provided by the SMSU. The SMS Utility (SMSU) is a DLL. The SMSU provides utility functionality for SMS messages.
- GSM Utilities
This section describes the GSM utility classes and the functionality they provide in the SMS stack. .
- Message Stores
The SMS stack uses the following stores to store a complete message.
- SMS Protocol Modules
This section describes the SMS protocol module of the SMS stack.
- SMS Stack Observers
The SMS stack provides two observers. Set SMS Bearer observer and Set Receive Mode observer. Both the observers are created and deleted by the SMS protocol class (SMSPROT).
- SMS Disk Monitors
This section describes the SMS stack disk monitors. The SMS stack stores the messages before segmentation and reassembly.
- SMS Encoding and Decoding
This section describes the SMS encoding and decoding concepts. The encoding and decoding of the SMS messages is done in the SMS stack.
