<entry><p>View creation works via an incremental merge sort. The DBMS version
creates all the <xref href="GUID-A861AB56-802E-32BC-B073-EE3E368735F6.dita"><apiname>CViewContact</apiname></xref> for a View and then sorts
them. This constant specifies the number of fully populated <codeph>CViewContact</codeph> objects
that will be held in memory during View creation at any one time. The larger
this constant the faster a View containing large numbers of items will be
created. However, a larger constant will use more RAM for large Views. The
default for this constant is 500 <codeph>CViewContact</codeph> objects. </p> </entry>
