Phone</title><shortdesc> <codeph>RMobilePhone</codeph> encapsulates the properties of the
phone that do not relate to a particular line or call. It is derived from
the<codeph>RPhone</codeph> interface of core telephony. </shortdesc><prolog><metadata><keywords/></metadata></prolog><conbody>
<p>The functionality of <codeph>RMobilePhone</codeph> is divided into a number
of functional units. Some <codeph>RMobilePhone</codeph> functions are supported
by the TSY, while others are optional and only need to be supported if the
TSY supports that functional area. </p>
<p>The following table lists its major functional areas, whether the area
is supported by all TSYs, or whether it is optional. It also shows if the
area is of potential use in GSM, WCDMA and CDMA modes respectively. </p>
