Configuration</title><shortdesc>This section explains how to configure the priorities in the OOM
Monitor configuration file.</shortdesc><prolog><metadata><keywords/></metadata></prolog><conbody>
<p>The OOM Monitor configuration file (<filepath>oomconfig.xml</filepath>)
is located in <filepath>epo32\data\z\10207218</filepath>. </p>
<note>The configuration file cannot be modified after flashing it to the device.</note>
<p>The OOM Monitor configuration file can contain the following details:<ul>
<li><p> initial priority of an internal application. For information on OOM
Monitor priority, refer to <xref href="GUID-CE308C71-D8B2-43B3-97FD-B868285ED5FB.dita">OOM
Monitor Priority</xref>.</p></li>
<li><p>rules to change the priority. For more information, refer to <xref href="GUID-54D5CBD5-0A1F-4835-B5F3-492728B9F51E.dita">Rules to Change Priority
Dynamically</xref>.</p></li>
<li><p> default priority. If the priority of an application is not defined
it will have the default priority. </p></li>
<li><p> OOM Plug-ins priority. For information on OOM Monitor plug-ins priority,
refer to <xref href="GUID-DB6F586B-932A-4BDC-BA48-79C7D3FD9931.dita">OOM Plug-ins</xref>.</p></li>
</ul></p>
<p>For applications that need to be active all the time the priority can be
set to <codeph>NEVER_CLOSE</codeph>.</p>
