Lists in pop-up windows

Vertical lists are used extensively in most applications as part of the pop-up windows, to display the options available for a selected item.

Design Guidelines : Lists do not have permanent highlight in touch. For information on the list navigation, see Dragging and flicking and Scrollbar.

Table 1. Default touch events for lists in pop-up windows
User action	State change	Feedback
Touch down	No effect	Highlight is shown. Tactile: Basic list effect and audio feedback are given with touch down event.
Touch release	Item is activated.	Highlight disappears. Tactile: Basic list effect is provided with touch release event.
Touch down and hold on item	Inactive	Tactile: No effect
Touch down and move inside pop-up	Refer to Dragging and flicking events.	Tactile: Refer to Dragging and flicking events.
Touch down, move and touch release with speed	Refer to Dragging and flicking events.	Tactile: Refer to Dragging and flicking events.
